During each month of the Purtian’s Pride Smoothie Challenge I have focused on using specific ingredients to create a delicious and healthy smoothie. This month my focus was bringing the following ingredients into a smoothie:
Natural ginger is from the ginger root and is perfect as a spicy snack, for a cup of tea, or an ingredient in cooking and baking. Dried naturally with a unique combination of sweet, spicy, moist and chewy.
Convenient, delicious way to obtain the beneficial compounds in pomegranate fruit.
Few flavors are as distinctly tantalizing as the cool, minty vibrancy of Peppermint Extract. Use in cake, cookies, frosting and ice cream dishes.
Supports antioxidant health and immune system function.* Vitamin C Crystals are specially designed for people who cannot take tablets or capsules.
This all-natural vegan protein powder is free of artificial flavors, artificial colors, and artificial sweeteners. It is also preservative free.
Made from Quinoa and Oats, this delicious chocolate flavored drink is dairy free and soy free, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a vegan protein option that is nutrient dense.
Each serving of this delicious protein powder delivers 17 grams of protein and 3 grams of dietary fiber to help fuel your body, aid in post workout recovery and help satisfy hunger.
This month’s focus of the smoothie challenge is focused around fun smoothie’s that not only are healthy and delicious but that also can be a part of your holiday celebrations and party! One of my favorite things to do is find healthy recipes to enjoy during the holiday season.
My creation was simple, but effective.
Chocolate Pomegranate and Raspberry Mocktail
In addition to my creation, you can also check out these three mocktail superfood smoothie recipes developed by Brooke Alpert, M.S., R.D., C.D.N., of B Nutritious and author of The Sugar Detox, who works as a paid spokesperson for Puritan’s Pride.
