The Perfect Fall Recovery Smoothie
Puritan’s Pride November Smoothie Challenge
During each month of the Purtian’s Pride Smoothie Challenge I have focused on using specific ingredients to create a delicious and healthy smoothie. This month my focus was bringing the following ingredients into a smoothie:
Natural ginger is from the ginger root and is perfect as a spicy snack, for a cup of tea, or an ingredient in cooking and baking. Dried naturally with a unique combination of sweet, spicy, moist and chewy.
Dynamic Health Pomegranate Juice Concentrate
Convenient, delicious way to obtain the beneficial compounds in pomegranate fruit.
Vanns Peppermint Flavor Extract
Few flavors are as distinctly tantalizing as the cool, minty vibrancy of Peppermint Extract. Use in cake, cookies, frosting and ice cream dishes.
Purtian’s Pride Vitamin C Crystals
Supports antioxidant health and immune system function.* Vitamin C Crystals are specially designed for people who cannot take tablets or capsules.

This month’s focus of the smoothie challenge is focused around fun smoothie’s that not only are healthy and delicious but that also can be a part of your holiday celebrations and party! One of my favorite things to do is find healthy recipes to enjoy during the holiday season.
My creation was simple, but effective.
Chocolate Pomegranate and Raspberry Mocktail

-Run with joy!
My favorite mocktail would have to be sparkling cider. I love wine, and that is one of the things I am pretty bummed about being pregnant for the holidays! But luckily my in laws have stocked the cabinets with sparkling cider so I don’t feel so left out : )
my favorite mocktail will always be a shirley temple. not exactly holiday themed, but at least the colors are festive!
