Good morning!

This has been a tough week so far for me. Not sure if I am coming down with a bug, but I currently feel like I was hit by a truck. Hoping this passes at least by the weekend so I begin to feel more like myself.

I’ve gotten a couple mediocre runs in this week. I’ve tried really hard to stick to my schedule even though I haven’t been feeling so great. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow and do what your body lets you do.

Anyways, on to more positive things shall we!?

I don’t do these surveys very often, but to be honest it’s been a crazy several days and I needed something simple. These can be fun too, so I hope you will participate along with me!

Ok, here we go.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

My husband and I have always said that if we didn’t have any family attachments we would move out west to Colorado, Oregon, or Utah.

However, we choose to be close to family because to us that is more important. It doesn’t hurt to dream though does it?

What are your biggest fears?

Snakes, confined spaces, and big spiders. I have some deeper fears but we will keep it light today.

What did you want to be when you were small?

It wasn’t necessary when I was small, but all through high school and the beginning of college I wanted to be an interior decorator. I even stared out with that as my major. However, didn’t really turn out to be my thing.

Where is your happy place?

My happiest place is simply at home. It’s my comfort and safe haven. However, my second happy place is the beach.

Track Love1

There is just nowhere more peaceful and it is such a wonderful escape.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I wish I had a super healthy answer for you, but I’d probably have to say pizza. I could eat it every single day and never get tired of it.

If money were no object, what would you do all day?

If money were no object, I would probably do something working with animals. It has always been a passion of mine.

Weekly Recap2

I would also love help Wes work towards his dreams. I’m sure if money were no object; he would quit and work towards giving these last 8-9 years of his competitive running career everything he’s got.

What is your favorite holiday?

Christmas hands down. In fact, the Friday after Thanksgiving we started putting up our decorations. I love the entire month and most likely our decorations will not come down until the end of January.

No Run Streak1

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

Ice cream and a really good cheeseburger

What was the last book you read?

I am in the process of reading How Bad Do You Want It by Matt Fitzgerald. I will make sure to a review of it when I’m done!

Are you a clean or messy person?

Clean person. Clutter and mess will drive me absolutely crazy.

What kitchen appliance do you use every day?

Does my stove count? I used to say my coffee pot but now that we have one at work I don’t use mine at home very often.
What is your favorite movie?

This is a tough one because my husband and I watch a lot of movies. A few I can think of off the top of my head: Office Space, The Notebook (all other Nicholas Sparks movies since then have been pretty bad), Along Came a Spider, and Love Actually (favorite Christmas movie).

What did you collect growing up?

I collected a few things but the one that sticks out the most was tea sets. I don’t even remember how I got into it, but I ended up with quite the collection!

What is the most interesting thing you can see from your kitchen window?

There isn’t much to see besides from trees. This time of year you are bound to see at least 2-3 dear at any time of the day.

What was your first job?

I was a Client Service Associate for Morgan Stanley and then UBS Financial Services.  I basically was a glorified assistant, but the job did allow me to obtain my Series 7 and Series 66 license so I guess it wasn’t’ all bad! It was a great job right out of college.

How many languages do you speak?

Just English because the 5 years of Spanish I took in school didn’t seem to stick that well. I always thought it would be amazing to be able to fluently speak another language.

Who knows you best?

My husband definitely knows me the best. While our personalities are actually quite different, he gets me unlike anyone else.
