Good morning!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine started early but it was a full day and that is always something I can hang my hat onto!

I started my day at the gym for a spinning session.

I found this quote this morning and it was exactly what I needed to get myself out of bed.

Sometimes you just have to cut the excuses and get moving.

I completed a total of 1 hour and 37 minutes on the spin bike while enjoying the newest episodes of Hart of Dixie and Reign. I am so excited that I figured out how to connect to our gym’s internet on my iPad. I’ve been missing out and it makes the spinning go by so much quicker!

I didn’t have time for much else because I had to hurry to nanny the cutest little 3 month old for the rest of the day. I honestly didn’t realize how much that would take out of me. 8 hours with a 3 month old!? Yep I was completely exhausted when I got home after 7:00.

I wanted to address something that I didn’t realize would cause such an issue with some people.

I have gotten a couple comments and a few emails on my decision to cross train with Wes during this short time he is having some issues with his hip. I understand to some this can be confusing. It may seem a little strange.

No, Wes did not take any time off when I was dealing with my stress fracture, but he did help me during my cross training. He was about 4 weeks out from 2 marathons at the time, so him taking off from running would have been completely unreasonable.

I am not training for anything currently and for me with my two jobs my schedule doesn’t allow for really more than one thing a day. That being said, I wouldn’t want to cross train with him AND run because that would be getting a little out of control.

I had planned on stepping back soon anyways since I was 3 weeks into running again after coming back from a stress fracture. I figured this would be as good a time as any and at the same time I can support Wes a little bit.

I understand some of you may think it is crazy, and you have the right too but it is what works and helps my husband. I am going to do what is right for my husband and I regardless of opinions, but you are welcome to express them.  We are hoping that sometime this week we will get an answer and hopefully it won’t be too much longer.  If I am able and at a point where I can step back from running a little and it helps my husband get through a tough time, why not?

There you have it. If you have any questions you are welcome to email me! Moving on…..

I received this awesome cook book last week that I won from Lindsay’s Blog. I can’t wait to try it out!
