I am going to try this two post a day thing for a little while and see how it works.

My main post will be in the morning and then I’ll bring something smaller and fun in the afternoon. Who knows just trying something new! 🙂

Earlier I mentioned my 1 hour and 40 minute spinning workout yesterday.

It was a great workout and really got my heart rate up and made me sweat like crazy, which is exactly what I was going for!

I knew that if I was going to get through a long workout on the spin bike I needed to incorporate intervals.

Here is what I came up with:

Boredom Buster Spinning Workout

Please note: You will want to adjust the resistance levels to something that is challenging for you.  I have played around on the spin bike and a 8 resistance is about the max my leg can handle right now without causing issues.  Most people will need to up these resistance levels in order to get the best workout for YOUR body.

I found that just like with the treadmill, once you hit that hour mark the rest of the time passes quickly.  That is the main reason that once you finish the first set of intervals you are already at 55 minutes.  The hardest part is already done.

I suggest you have a towel and a bottle of water with you when doing this.  I was amazed and just how quickly all my water disappeared!
