I’ve got another spinning workout for you today.

I am normally one that wants to have her workouts planned before I head into the gym. Saturday after my test run I knew I wanted to spin but had no idea what to do.

I knew that if I didn’t come up with SOMETHING that I would probably not make it very long out of boredom.

I came up with a quick and easy workout as I was hoping on the spin bike. I decided I would vary my resistance every 10 minutes. That would be long enough to where I could zone out but still wasn’t doing the same thing the entire time.

The goal of this workout was not to go crazy. I had already run so I simply wanted to keep my heart rate up and kill the time until my husband was done with his long run.

10 x 10 Spinning Workout

Note: Just like with any workout I post on my blog you can vary the resistance to meet your needs. My leg really shouldn’t be using a resistance of anything over 8, so that is why that is my max.  There are many people that this would be way too easy. Adjust based on what is best for you and your body.

The first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes are your warm up and cool down respectively.  These can be as easy as you want them to it is just about getting your legs moving.

Try not to focus on the full time on the bike, instead just focus on one 10 minute interval at a time.

Let me know if you try it!

Anyone tried in good spinning workouts lately?
