I finished Carrie’s Slim, Strong, and Sexy plan about a week ago and I have been meaning to review it.

As you all know I have been a runner for as long as I can remember. I enjoy it, I love it, but I got burnt out.  I was looking for something new, something to strengthen and lean me out.

Just at this time Carrie offered me the chance to participate and review in her Slim, Strong, and Sexy plan.  I had no idea what I was doing so it was important for me to have someone there every step of the way to help me.  Carrie really knows what she is doing and is great at always being there to answer any questions!

To be completely honest I did do more cardio then Carrie’s plan suggested during the last phase. The total plan was 12 weeks long and for the first 8 weeks I stuck exactly to what she instructed. The last 4 weeks I added running back into my routine.  This could have lessened some of my  results since I did increase the cardio.  I want to be completely up front about it since this was my doing and had nothing to do with her plan.

The plan is easy to follow even for the beginner in the gym.  As with any plans or any fitness routine it is very important that you not only follow the workouts but work on your diet as well.  I have always been a firm believer that 80% of your body is from your diet and the rest is from the gym.

I can say from doing this program I have noticed my body getting stronger, leaner, and overall looks better.  I don’t dread what I see when I look in the mirror anymore and now after completely Carrie’s program I am dedicated to continuing weight lifting.  Running is always going to be a big part of my life, but the incorporation of a weight routine can do wonders for your body and help prevent injury.

Please go check out Carrie’s workout plans on her website.  She really knows what she is doing and is there to help you every step of the way and answer any questions you have! If you stick to the plan you WILL see results.  The great thing about her 12 week plan is that it was constantly changing and kept you motivated and excited to stick to the workouts!

Thank you Carrie for this opportunity and for teaching me so much!
