Today was a Saturday where I had to work. I was so excited to get to work the first Saturday of the month (ALWAYS the busiest) – NOT! Thankfully even though we were extremely shorted staffed, the time went by quickly and before I knew it 3:30 rolled around.

I wanted more than anything to head home after getting off work, but I knew that I needed to get my workout in.  It helped that my lovely husband was waiting on me at the gym to help me got through the workout.

We ended up doing legs and a small amount of ab work today.

Leg/Ab Day

I can tell I am slowly getting stronger in my legs. I am really excited to be able to compare these pictures to new ones here in a few months. I know my hard work will eventually pay off!

I was just happy I was able to get through the workout after working all morning and afternoon. I slept pretty crappy last night too, but I knew that if I didn’t get it in I would regret it later.

I have a pretty tough workout planned for tomorrow incorporating some cardio back into my routine and weights. As I have mentioned before I am starting ThisFitChick‘s Slim, Strong, and Sexy plan on Monday. I plan to return to the LiveFit program once I have completed this 12 week plan, but this was too great of an offer to pass up! This plan versus what I was doing does have cardio included in the first phase. I am using tomorrow as a test to see how my body will react to putting cardio back in.

Saturday also means that it is cheat meal day! I can’t tell you how excited I was for this.

This week’s cheat meal was a buffalo grilled chicken wrap and some fries.

It was so delicious and so worth the hard work throughout the week!

My husband and I are now sitting here watching a documentary and relaxing for the rest of the evening. We want to be ready to go our morning workouts. Thank goodness for my first full day off since Tuesday!
