Today’s Workout – Just Kept the Leg’s Moving

I had a minor set back today.

I haven’t mentioned it on the blog before but I’ve been struggling a lot with being very exhausted. I will get light headed and feel pretty out of it for good portions of the day.  

I had an appointment with the Dr. next week but ever since I woke up this morning I could tell something wasn’t right.  I felt dizzy, light headed, and I couldn’t concentrate on anything.  I was even having trouble recalling basic pieces of information at work.

My husband insisted I get an appointment, and he was able to get fit in with someone that he has done rotations with in medical school.

Nothing has been diagnosed but once I get the blood work results back hopefully it will give me some answers.

The most common diagnosis with these symptoms are:

1. Anemia

2. Hypo-Thyroidism

3. Diabetes

It may not be any of these as well, but it is something that I need to get figured out sooner rather than later.

Once I got home from the doctor’s I knew that my speed workout wasn’t happening today.  My schedule had been all messed up and I knew I would have to move things around.

I opted for a short 2 mile run to keep my legs moving with the husband. I will probably be moving my speed workout to tomorrow morning, but we will wait and see how I feel.

Lesson to everyone out there: don’t let your problems go to long without seeking help.  I have been dealing with this for almost 6 months and kept putting it off. It is important to listen to your body.
